Pradeep Giri is a true and good leader: Prime Minister

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his condolences on Pradeep Giri’s death.

Sher Bahadur Deuba, Prime Minister and President of the Nepali Congress stated that Giri’s death has resulted in the loss of a good and true leader.

“I am deeply saddened by the news of the death of my friend Pradeep Giri, the leader of the Nepali Congress and a theorist and socialist thinker in Nepali politics,” Deuba said, adding that “Nepal has lost a true and good leader with his death.” I express my heartfelt condolences to the family at this difficult time, wishing his soul eternal peace.’

Giri, a member of the House of Representatives, died last night during treatment at Mediciti Hospital.
