NC leader Pradeep Giri’s condition critical

KATHMANDU: Pradeep Giri, the leader of the Nepali Congress (NC), has been placed on a ventilator and treatment has begun.

Giri, who is being treated for illness at Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur, was placed on a ventilator on Friday.

“He’s been in the ICU for three days,” Giri’s colleague Mandeep Bharati said. He has been shifted on a ventilator now.’

After receiving treatment for throat cancer in Mumbai, India, he returned to Nepal and was admitted to Mediciti in the second week of July due to health issues.
