PM’s wishes on Shri Krishna Janmashtami – ‘May it be inspired to build a cultured society’
He issued a message today and wished that this festival would provide inspiration to build a cultured society by enhancing mutual harmony, brotherhood and friendship among all Nepalis.
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his best wishes for happiness, peace, prosperity and good health to all Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami.
He issued a message today and wished that this festival would provide inspiration to build a cultured society by enhancing mutual harmony, brotherhood and friendship among all Nepalis.
It has been a tradition to celebrate this festival with reverence and devotion by worshiping Lord Krishna, the pioneer of Karma Yog. From a religious point of view, Lord Krishna is considered to be a seeker of good nature and an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
“The aspect of Yog and philosophy discussed in Gita by Lord Krishna and made available to mankind is important and it is especially remembered today”, the message said. He mentioned that the teachings and message of Lord Krishna, the worshipful god of all Hindu religions, are very useful and meaningful for the entire human community.
