2 billion turnover as stock market rose by double digits

KATHMANDU: The stock market rose by double digits on Thursday, the fifth trading day of the week.
The NEPSE index increased by 27.72 points on this day, reaching 2068.42 points. The sensitive index, which measures ‘A’ class companies, increased by 5.41 points today to 400.08 points.
On this day, 51 lakh 1 thousand 290 shares were bought and sold for 2 billion 579 lakh 80 thousand 57 rupees.
On this day, the stock prices of 171 companies increased. The stock prices of 12 companies have dropped. Three companies share prices have remained stable.
NEPSE’s 13 group indicators all turned green on this day.
