POKHARA: To attract tourists, it is possible to take a selfie with Prithvi Narayan Shah in Gorkha’s museum.
The museum plans to dress a person in the style of the Shah’s replica. “On reflection, Prithvi Narayan Shah” has been running since Wednesday.
Tourists will now find a man dressed in Prithvi Narayan Shah period attire standing at the museum’s main gate. While speaking with him, you will be able to take a selfie.
Gorkha Municipality Mayor Krishna Rana, Deputy Mayor Sapana Pun, Chief District Officer Shankarhari Acharya, Development Committee Chairperson Sureshman Shrestha, and others discussed Prithvi Narayan Shah’s reflection.
Locals must pay 20 rupees to take a photograph with Prithvi Narayan Shah, while other tourists must pay 50 rupees.
It is reported that those who take pictures in the group will be charged Rs 100, while those who take pictures in Prithvi Narayan Shah’s costume will be charged Rs 300.
Prithvi Narayan Shah will also keep Kalu Pandey’s reflection. Now an arrangement has been made that one can go around the city on horseback wearing Prithvi Narayan Shah’s costume.
