Action taken against 3,187 drivers in valley on a single day

KATHMANDU: Traffic police have taken action against 3,187 drivers in one day in Kathmandu valley.

On Tuesday, they took action in various parts of the valley due to a violation of traffic rules.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 179 drivers were driving under the influence of alcohol, 128 drivers did not follow lane discipline, 116 drivers ran red lights, 146 drivers honked in prohibited areas, and 23 drivers did not keep their license plates visible.

Similarly, 2 thousand 595 drivers have been taken other actions according to the office.
