Maoists summons a standing committee meeting

KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee meeting of CPN Maoist Center is being held.

The meeting has been called to be held at the party office Parisdanda at 1 pm.

Ramesh Malla, President Prachanda’s personal secretary, informed that the meeting will discuss the preparations for the federal and state assembly elections to be held on November 4. “The meeting will be held today at 1 pm, this is a regular meeting,” said Malla.

The next day after President Bidya Devi Bhandari sent the Citizenship Bill back to the Federal Parliament for further discussion, the Maoists called a standing committee meeting, so it will also be discussed.
