3 ruling parties agree not to throw garbage in Bancharedanda

KATHMANDU: Three parties from Dhunibeshi Municipality-1 in Dhading have pledged not to throw garbage in Bancharedanda.

On Sunday, the local leaders of the three parties issued a joint statement announcing that they will no longer allow garbage to be thrown, claiming that the unorganized manner of garbage disposal in Kathmandu has made life difficult for local residents.

Purna Bahadur Tamang, Congress Chairperson of Dhunibeshi Municipality-1 in Dhading, Bishnu Tamang, Chairperson of the Maoist Center, and Bhishan Dhital, Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist), have jointly submitted a letter to the head of the municipality informing him that garbage collection will be prohibited in the future.
