8th edition of Glocal’s 20 under 20 names been announced!

KATHMANDU: The Glocal Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with Wai Wai, has released a list of 20 brilliant and influential Nepali teenagers under the age of 20.

Glocal’s 20 under 20 is an umbrella title for 20 early change makers, who are teenagers from various fields who are making a positive impact on society.

These teenagers come from a variety of backgrounds, including social work, activism, computer programming, science and technology, innovation, health, art, and entrepreneurship, among others.

Following are the 20 under 20 lists for the year 2022:

Our respected jury panel chose the 20 young inspiring pioneers after an intense and rigorous selection process for the significant impact they have made in society. These young people were chosen from a pool of 648 applications from across the country. The chosen teenagers will be honored at the Wai Wai Glocal Teen Hero 2022 Award Function on September 1, 2022, at The Soaltee Hotel in Soalteemode, Kathmandu.

Throughout the year, Glocal’s 20 under 20 will collaborate to identify opportunities, foster networking and collaboration, and organize work to make a difference in society. They are expected to initiate work and improve their leadership and other qualities by leveraging their existing knowledge and experience. In addition, they are paving the way for future leaders by improving their interactive and proactive skills.
