Rastriya Beema to be converted into a Public Limited Company
The insurance company will now operate in accordance with the Insurance Act, thanks to the passage of the bill.
KATHMANDU: Rastriya Beema Sansthan is going to be converted into Public Limited.
On Sunday, the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament passed the Insurance Bill-2079, which included provisions to repeal the National Insurance Institute Act-2025.
The insurance company will now operate in accordance with the Insurance Act, thanks to the passage of the bill.
The insurance company must be converted into a public limited company within one year, according to the Act. To become a public limited company, the company must conduct an initial public offering (IPO).
