Barcelona held to draw in Spanish league

KATHMANDU: Barcelona has had a mediocre start to the Spanish La Liga season.

Barcelona started the new season with a goalless draw against Rayo Vallecano in their first league match, which ended last night.

After the scheduled 90 minutes of play, neither team scored, and the game ended in a tie.

Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano both have one point after this tie. Barcelona’s next La Liga match is against Real Sociedad on August 22.
