KATHMANDU: Ireland defeated Afghanistan in the second T-20 match. In the Thursday night match in Belfast, the visiting team was defeated by 5 wickets.

The victory gives the home team a 2-0 lead in the five-match T-20 series.

Afghanistan’s target of 123 runs was met by the home team despite losing 5 wickets with 6 balls remaining. The third T-20 match between the two teams will take place on Friday.
