KATHMANDU: Traffic police have taken action against 2,741 motorists in one day in Kathmandu Valley.
On Wednesday, they were charged with violating traffic rules in various locations throughout the valley.
According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 149 drivers do not follow lane discipline, 113 are driving under the influence of drugs, 120 do not obey red lights, and 33 do not keep their license plates visible.
Other actions have been taken against the remaining 2,326 drivers, according to the office.
