Landslide with heavy rains in Singti, 65 houses at risk

KATHMANDU: Some houses in Dolakha’s Singti Bazar area have been destroyed by landslides caused by rain, and another 65 are at risk.

The local police station is also in danger.

Last night, a landslide occurred in Bigu Rural Municipality-4 Laduk.

All of the families were forced to flee after being threatened by landslides. Inspector Sanu Tamang of the District Police Office reported that those in danger had been relocated to a safe location.

The houses in the market area are covered with mud.

The landslide also closed the road to the market area. On August 8, a landslide occurred in the same location.
