Chance of heavy rain in these four states

KATHMANDU: According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, rain and weather changes are possible throughout the day in various parts of the country. Meteorologists predict that heavy rain will fall in some parts of the country today.

Heavy rain is possible in one or two places in State 1, Bagmati State, Gandaki State, and Karnali State. In these areas, there is a risk of soil erosion, landslides, and gegran drift. The department has requested that necessary precautions be taken because the water level in rivers, canals, and rivers may rise, affecting the transportation sector.

Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is falling in a few places in Gandaki State, Lumbini State, Karnali State, and Sudurpaschim State’s hilly areas.

According to the forecast, there will be scattered showers this afternoon. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some hilly areas and a few other places across the country. There is a chance of heavy rain in one or two areas of Bagmati and Karnali states.

According to the department, there will be partial to normal rain in hilly areas and partial rain in the rest of the country tonight. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in a few places in State 1, Bagmati State, and Gandaki State, as well as one or two places elsewhere.
