277 applications for 27 positions of judge in High Court
For the appointments, the Judicial Council announced vacancy for the court by making standards.
KATHMANDU: A total of 277 applications has been filed for 27 positions of judge in the High Court.
For the appointments, the Judicial Council announced vacancy for the court by making standards.
The applications were from district judges, legal practitioners, employees in judicial group and government advocate group and other categories.
The applications (76 by district judges, 174 by legal practitioners and 46 from other categories) included 55 men and 19 women. Shortlisting will take place soon, said the Council’s spokesperson Man Bahadur Karki.
