Balen back down from decision to demolish Norvic’s illegal construction

KATHMANDU: Balen did not back down from Norvic’s decision to demolish the illegal construction.

Following a formal agreement between the hospital administration and Mayor Balen Shah, the city has reversed its decision to remove the illegal construction.

It has been agreed that the engineers will submit a report on the time it took to connect and move the materials there, and the next step will be determined based on that.

As the hospital stated that the construction cannot be demolished within 24 hours due to the presence of essential and sensitive materials required for patient treatment, the construction will not be demolished immediately.
