KATHMANDU: Gyanendra Shahi, the leader of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), will run for office from Jumla. Shahi Jumla, who was appointed as the RPP’s fifth spokesperson after joining the party, plans to run for House of Representatives.

In the afternoon, he will hold a press conference at Arpan Party Palace in Thapagaon, Kathmandu, to provide formal information about it. According to reports, party president Rajendra Lingden and other leaders will attend the 2:30 p.m. press conference.

Gajendra Mahat ‘Karma,’ a Maoist center, was elected in 2074 from Jumla, which has only one constituency. Shahi, the campaign coordinator for ‘Hamro Nepal, Hami Nepali,’ joined the RPP last Falgun (February/March).
