Man dies after being stung by hornets
Sunar had 53 stings all over his body.
KATHMANDU: A man died after being stung by hornets in Rukum West’s Tribeni Rural Municipality.
Subarna Sunar of rural municipality-1, who was stung by hornets four days ago, died on the way to Nepalgunj for treatment on Sunday, according to locals.
He was referred by a private health facility in the area.
According to locals, Sunar had 53 stings all over his body. He and his friends were destroying hornet nests to kill them at Baphukhola in Salyan when the incident occurred, according to them
Sunar worked as a tax collector for Tribeni Rural Municipality before his death.
