Rains will be light to moderate in the afternoon, according to the Division of Water and Weather Forecasting. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some hilly areas and a few other places across the country. Heavy rain is possible in one or two places in States 1, Bagmati, and Gandaki.
At night, there will be moderate to moderate showers in Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Far West States, and partial to moderate showers in the rest of the areas. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible in some areas of Bagmati State, Gandaki State, Lumbini and Far Western State, as well as a few other states. Heavy rain is possible in a few places across Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini states.
The department has asked for vigilance because the water level in rivers, canals, and rivers may rise and disrupt daily life.
