Thai Nightclub Fire: Death toll rises to 40

KATHMANDU: The Death toll from a fire at a nightclub in Thailand’s Chonburi province in the early hours of Friday has risen to 40, local media reported.

The fire, which started around 1:00 a.m. local time, has been put out, and the injured have been taken to the hospital, according to the Bangkok Post.

The cause of the accident was being investigated.
