BYD Made the Fortune Global 500 List for 2022

KATHMANDU: BYD was named to the Fortune Global 500 list for 2022 on August 3rd, demonstrating its market leadership.

BYD sold 730,093 passenger vehicles in 2021, including 593,745 new energy passenger vehicles, a 231.6 percent increase year on year.

BYD sold 638,157 new energy passenger vehicles in the first half of 2022, an increase of 324.8 percent year on year. Furthermore, BYD’s new energy vehicle footprint spans more than 400 cities in 70 countries and regions across six continents.

At the moment, the global focus is on reducing carbon emissions and developing new energy sources. BYD is committed to providing new energy solutions around the world as an international high-tech company.
