KATHMANDU: COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 760 more people in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, one death reported in the last 24 hours.

Infection was confirmed in 760 of the 5,926 people tested. 2,589 people were tested for PCR, 494 people for antigen infection, and 3,337 people were tested for both.

In addition, the number of active COVID-19 infected people has reached 5,602. In the last 24 hours, 324 people have been recovered from COVID-19 infection, while 5,440 remain in home isolation.

Similarly, 162 people are in institutional isolation, and 44 are in intensive care units. With Thursday’s addition, the total number of COVID-19 infected people in Nepal now stands at 1,132,613.
