Voter list registration to be postponed from Friday

KATHMANDU: The registration for the voter list will be postponed from Friday morning.

According to the Election Commission, after the government announced that the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections will be held on Nov 20, voter list registration will be postponed.

Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya informed this while speaking with Makalu Khabar.

The commission was currently registering voter lists with photographs from district election offices, district administration offices, area administration offices, and other locations throughout the country.

It is common practice to postpone voter registration after the announcement of elections.
