ANNFSU donated 717 rupees to Gandaki government, submitted to CM

KATHMANDU: The Gandaki State government has received a donation from the UML fraternal organization ANNFSU.

ANNFSU launched a Rs 1 donation campaign against the budget allocated for the Chief Minister’s and Ministers’ family trusts. The money has been given to Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel.

The campaign raised 717 rupees, according to Romakant Pokharel, chairperson of ANNFSU, Gandaki.

The government has set aside crores of rupees in the current fiscal year’s budget for memorial funds, foundations, and trusts established in the names of chief ministers, ministers, ruling party leaders, and state assembly members.

The budget was met with widespread criticism and opposition.
