PM Deuba summons cabinet meeting

KATHMANDU: The Council of Ministers has been called together by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The meeting scheduled for 1 p.m. today is expected to set the date for HoR and State elections.

The top leaders of the ruling coalition met on Wednesday at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar and suggested to Prime Minister Deuba that elections be held in one phase on November 20.

It is said that according to the suggestion of the coalition, the government can set the date of the election today.
