Worrying where to hide money of leaders & employees ruined country: Minister Chaudhary
Minister Chaudhary stated that after serving in the government, the government itself is earning illegal income, purchasing property for their ( government) children, and paying attention to the commission, and their employees are also involved in the same activities.
KATHMANDU: Metmani Chaudhary, Minister of Urban Development, stated that the country has deteriorated since leaders and employees began worrying about where to hide money. On Wednesday, he spoke at a three-day seminar in the capital on the review of the Ministry’s fiscal year 2078/79 and the implementation of the next year’s program.
Minister Chaudhary stated that after serving in the government, the government itself is earning illegal income, purchasing property for their ( government) children, and paying attention to the commission, and their employees are also involved in the same activities.
He stated, “When leaders, ministers, and government employees began to worry about where to hide their money after amassing enormous wealth, the country deteriorated. This trend must be end.”
Minister Chaudhary expressed his belief that the ministry will make further strides in the progress of work and program implementation in the coming fiscal year, stating that the country can only be built with everyone’s positive commitment.
Padma Kumar Mainali, the Ministry’s Acting Secretary, directed officials to accelerate the Ministry’s progress. He stated that national service employees should approach their work with a new mindset in order to help build the country.
According to reports, there is a three-day program for the heads of various departments and divisions within the ministry to discuss the previous year’s progress and the implementation of upcoming programs.
