Foodstuffs transported to Rasuwa for Gosainkunda fair
According to the Gosainkunda Area Development Committee, as many as 15,000 devotees are expected to attend the special religious fair to be held on August 8-12.
RASUWA: Foodstuffs have been hoarded to the district so as to arrange meals for the devotees turning up to Gosainkunda, the holy shrine.
With the devotees thronging the holy place, daily essential goods and foodstuffs including lentils, rice, salt, cooking oil, noodles and biscuits have been transported to Gosainkunda through Dhunche and Syafrubesi Bazar.
According to the Gosainkunda Area Development Committee, as many as 15,000 devotees are expected to attend the special religious fair to be held on August 8-12.
Adequate foodstuffs have been made available in the area to feed the target pilgrims, shared District Chairperson of Hotel Association of Rasuwa, Ram Sharan Gajurel.
There would be no issue of lodging and feeding for devotees visiting Gosainkunda, he said.
Arrangement of food and accommodation has been made in Dhunche, Deurali, Chandanbari, Lauribinayak and Gosainkunda, the Association shared.
