Wife filed a rape complaint against her husband

KATHMANDU: An accusation of rape against her husband has been made in Rupandehi. A complaint was made on Tuesday at the police station in the Butwal neighborhood by a woman from Tilottama Municipality-17.

According to DSP Thug Bahadur KC of the Butwal, Area Police Office, the woman claimed in her complaint that her husband for six months had been abusing drugs and alcohol and hitting and also forcing her against her will even when she was sick.

Even after learning of the husband’s atrocities, the mother-in-law and father-in-law allegedly showed no remorse, according to the complaint. The complaint also requests an investigation of the mother-in-law and father-in-law.
