Monsoon still active, heavy rain in these four states

KATHMANDU: Currently, it has been raining in different parts of the country since this morning. Moderate rain with lightning is currently occurring in parts of Bagmati State, Gandaki State, Lumbini State, and Karnali State.

Monsoon is still active across the country, according to the Water and Weather Forecasting Division. According to the department, the afternoon will be normal to complete change. Many parts of the country can expect light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning. Heavy rain is possible in one or two places in State 1, Gandaki State, Lumbini State, and Karnali State.

At night, the hilly areas of the country will experience normal to complete change, while the rest of the country will experience partial to normal change. In some parts of the country, light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning is possible. Heavy rain is possible in one or two locations in Bagmati State, Gandaki State and Lumbini State.

The department has asked for vigilance because the water level in rivers, canals, and rivers may rise, affecting people’s daily lives.
