State 1 CM Rai catches COVID-19
Along with Chief Minister Rai, 16 people were swabbed, including his family members, secretariat members, residence security personnel, and employees.
KATHMANDU: Rajendra Kumar Rai, the Chief Minister of State, has been infected with a COVID-19 infection.
During the swab test on Monday, three people, including the Chief Minister and his wife, were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19, according to the Chief Minister’s Press Adviser Bandhu Pokharel.
Along with Chief Minister Rai, 16 people were swabbed, including his family members, secretariat members, residence security personnel, and employees.
Along with the Chief Minister, his wife Shobha Pathak and the Chief Minister’s political adviser Jeevan Rai were found to be infected during the PCR test.
The health of all three people, including the Chief Minister, is normal.
Due to the COVID-19 infection, all programs, including the Chief Minister’s meeting, have been postponed, according to Press Advisor Pokharel.
