Landslide blocked major roads in Kaski
A landslide in Gairipokhari, Rupa Rural Municipality 1 of Kaski, washed away 25 meters of the Begnas-Bhorletar road on Monday night.
KATHMANDU: Major roads in Kaski are currently closed. Roads leading to villages are frequently blocked by landslides after heavy rains.

Similarly, a landslide from a height of 25 meters blocked the road in Annapurna Rural Municipality-7 Birethati. It is difficult to move around in the tourist village of Ghandruk due to the road blockage.
On the other hand, on the Pokhara-29 Ghotghote Prithvi Highway, the water from the canal overflowed and flooded the road, preventing the vehicle from passing. According to Kaski Police, the vehicle was diverted from Powerhouse and Talchowk due to a vehicle movement issue.
Aside from that, vehicles are not permitted to drive on Sikles Road, Yangjakot Road, or any other Madi Rural Municipality roads.
