Landslides cut off road communication district behind the Himalayas

KATHMANDU: Landslides caused by heavy rains have cut off access to both districts behind the Himalayas. A dry landslide has blocked the road near the border of Mustang and Myagdi in Kavrebhir.

According to Mustang police, the landslide occurred unexpectedly on Monday afternoon. It is estimated that removing the landslide will take an entire day.

A landslide, on the other hand, has washed away the road near Manang headquarters, Chame, and vehicle traffic has come to a halt.

Chief District Officer Rabindra Acharya stated that efforts are being made to open the road by requesting the use of a dozer. It has become difficult to transport food and even tourists since the road has been closed.
