UML holding a public demonstration against corruption & high prices in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The main opposition party, the CPN-UML, will protest high prices today. After 2 p.m., the party will hold a public demonstration in Basantpur against high prices, corruption, and treason.
In a meeting with the heads and representatives of all three valley district committees, the valley special state committee, the contact coordination committee, and people’s organizations, UML instructed to broaden the public demonstration.
The UML stated that the public demonstration will be organized by the party’s three district committees and public organizations in the valley.
According to reports, the valley special state committee, central departments of the party, parliamentarians, local representatives elected by the party in the valley, contact platforms, and public participation will take part in the rally, which will begin in Basantpur.
