Heavy rain in these areas today, rain till Wednesday

KATHMANDU: It has been raining in different parts of the country since this morning.

Light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning is currently falling in some areas of State 1, Bagmati, Gandaki, and a few other states.

The Water and Weather Forecast Division predicts a normal to complete change in the afternoon. Many parts of the country can expect light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning. Heavy rain is possible in a few areas of State 1, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Far West State.

There will be a general shift across the country at night. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder/lightning in some areas of the country’s hilly terrain and in a few other areas. Heavy rain is possible in a few areas of State 1, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki.

The department has asked for vigilance as the water level in rivers, canals, and rivers may rise and disrupt daily life.
