Houses in Bhojpur & Khotang collapsed as a result of the earthquake

KATHMANDU: The earthquake that occurred on Sunday morning with Martimbirta as the epicenter of Khotang destroyed two houses in Bhojpur and one house in Khotang.

According to Bhojpur Police, the collapse in Bhojpur Municipality Ward No. 12 Taksar damaged two houses. A house was also destroyed in Khotang’s Sakela Rural Municipality. The earthquake caused no human casualties.

According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, an earthquake of magnitude of 6 Richter scale occurred this morning at 8:13 a.m., with the epicenter in Khotang.
