Maoist Standing Committee meeting to be held

KATHMANDU: The standing committee meeting of CPN (Maoist Centre) will be held at the party office in Paris Danda on Sunday.

The meeting will begin at 3:00 p.m., according to Spokesman Krishna Bahadur Mahara.

The Parliamentary Investigation Special Committee reported at the meeting that the then-finance minister Janardan Sharma’s involvement in changing the tax rate in the budget could not be confirmed, so the Maoists may decide whether to send Sharma as finance minister again or send someone else.
