6 magnitude earthquake jolts Khotang

KATHMANDU: A magnitude 6 earthquake struck with Khotang as its epicenter.

The earthquake was felt in Khotang and its surrounding districts, as well as in Kathmandu Valley, at 8:13 a.m.

The earthquake has a magnitude of 6, according to Lok Bijay Adhikari, chief of the National Seismological Center.

There is no information on how much damage the earthquake caused.
