577 infections, 2 death, and 269 recoveries
Two COVID-19-related deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.
KATHMANDU: COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 577 more people in Nepal.
Out of the confirmed cases, 391 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 186 through the Antigen method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 4,454 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Of them, 2,778 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,676 through the Antigen method.
Two COVID-19-related deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. The COVID-19 death toll in the country now stands at 11,964.
Currently, there are 3,929 active cases in the country as 202 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
