KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML, the main opposition party, has objected to the removal of temporary, wage, and contract employees due to political bias.
Kiran Gurung, Head of the UML’s Federal Affairs and General Administration Department, issued a statement on Friday claiming that the government is firing employees in order to discourage them, and that the government is on an unwholesome path of using them for party interests.
“UML condemns the government’s actions to remove employees who are appointed and retired according to certain methods and procedures and create chaos in the field of administration,” the statement said.
