Preparing to submit the report of special committee to Parliament
The report will be submitted to the Speaker at the Parliament Building, New Baneshwor.
KATHMANDU: The time has been fixed for the parliamentary special committee to submit its report to Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota. It is ready to be submitted to the House after submitting it to the Speaker.
The committee, whose time ran out on Thursday, decided to submit the report to the Speaker on Friday. According to the same decision, Laxman Lal Karna, who is the coordinator of the committee as a senior member, is scheduled to submit the report to the speaker at 3 pm.
According to the Parliament Secretariat, the report will be submitted to the Speaker at the Parliament Building, New Baneshwor.
The House of Representatives current meeting will be postponed, and another meeting will be held today. After postponing the first meeting, the inquiry committee’s report is ready to be presented at the second meeting, once the speaker understands it.
On July 6, an 11-member committee was formed in response to allegations that unauthorized individuals had entered to manipulate the tax team. The committee was given 10 days at first.
The time was said to be insufficient, so it was extended for seven days on July 21. The investigation committee completed its work on time. The prepared report concluded that “unauthorized persons’ entry has not been confirmed.”
