Yeti Airlines plane malfunctions, passenger disembarks

KATHMANDU: Yeti Airlines’ aircraft, which was scheduled to fly from Biratnagar to Kathmandu, experienced a mechanical failure.

A malfunction occurred in the plane that was about to fly to Kathmandu with 60 passengers at 7:30 a.m.

Prem Kunwar, Yeti Airlines Biratnagar station manager, reported a malfunction in the flight number and MM call sign indicator of the ‘night stop’ flight YT 786 from Kathmandu on Thursday evening.

According to him, all of the passengers who were scheduled to fly had boarded the plane.

Later, the passengers were disembarked when the malfunction was discovered.

Yeti Airlines has stated that a technician from Kathmandu has been dispatched to identify and diagnose the problems on board.
