KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office conducted a drug test on tripper drivers.

Beginning on July 25, police officers used THC kits to determine whether or not they were driving under the influence of narcotic drugs.

Similarly, a joint team of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office and the Public Health Laboratory, Dhulikhel and Banepa, checked the tripper drivers on Jagati Road in Bhaktapur last night.

According to the police, the Public Health Laboratory in Dhulikhel has provided the necessary technical team and THC kit for the check-up.

According to spokesperson Senior Superintendent of Police Rajendra Prasad Bhatta, the inspection work will be done on a large scale throughout the valley.
