Former Finance Minister Sharma resigned as Finance Minister following the formation of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee.

The Parliamentary Inquiry Committee will meet to investigate former finance minister Janardan Sharma, who is accused of allowing unauthorized persons into the budget.

After then-finance minister Sharma was accused of manipulating tax rates by calling the finance ministry in the middle of the night while preparing the 2079/080 budget, an 11-member parliamentary special investigation committee was formed.
