564 infections, 1 death, and 202 recoveries

KATHMANDU: COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 564 more people in Nepal.

Out of the confirmed cases, 418 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 146 through the Antigen method.

A total of 4,454 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

Of them, 2,778 samples were tested through RT-PCR and 1,676 through the Antigen method.

One person has died as a result of COVID-19, bringing the total death toll in Nepal to 11,960.

There are currently 3,929 active cases in the country, with 202 infected patients recovered in the last 24 hours.
