CCTV footage of Singha Durbar gate was not found either, report not to last more than 16 days

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has informed that the CCTV footage of Singha Durbar Gate will not remain for more than 16 days. The ministry has given this information while sending a letter to the inquiry committee.

The committee investigating Janardan Sharma decided to collect the CCTV footage of the south and west gates of Singha Durbar on July 24.

A member of the investigation committee said, “After sending the hard disks to the forensic lab, we obtained the CCTV footage of the south and west gates of the Singha Durbar.” However, the reply has recently come that the footage will not remain more than 16 days.
