Man went missing in Kupinde Lake

KATHMANDU: One person has gone missing in Salyan’s Kupinde Lake after slipping while making a TikTok.

One person went missing at 12 noon on Tuesday, according to District Police Office Salyan.

The missing person is 37-year-old Ved Bahadur Basnet of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-6 of Dang, according to Salyan police chief Sumit Khadka.

Basnet’s former residence is Sinwang in Kapurkot Rural Municipality, according to the police.

According to the police, he slipped and fell into the lake while making TikTok with his friends near the lake, and the search is still ongoing.
