KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appointed Nepalese ambassadors to various countries on the recommendation of the Government of Nepal, the Council of Ministers in accordance with Article 282 of the Constitution of Nepal.

According to the President’s Office, Dr Sharmila Parajuli (Dhakal) has been appointed ambassador to Spain, Milan Raj Tuladhar to the Russian Federation, and Prof Dr Ramswartha Rai to Denmark on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.

Similarly, Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma, Nepal’s Resident Ambassador for the Republic of India, has been appointed as the Non-Resident Ambassador for Bhutan, according to a statement issued by the President’s Office.
