Demonstration demanding repeal of Citizenship Bill at event attended by PM

KATHMANDU: A young man protested at a program attended by the Prime Minister saying that the Citizenship Bill should be repealed.

As the Prime Minister was about to speak at the National Bibhuti Bhimsen Thapa Memorial Foundation program at Pragya Bhawan in Kathmandu on Monday, the youth raised placards and displayed slogans demanding that the Citizenship Bill be repealed.

He raised slogans such as repealing the Citizenship Bill, protect nationality, and protect independence. Then security took him out of the venue.
