Man arrested for raping an 18-year-old girl

KATHMANDU: One person was arrested on rape charges against an 18-year-old girl.

Rakesh BK, a 24-year-old Kanchanpur Punarbas Municipality 8 resident, was arrested, according to police.

The police from Gonagbu Police Division arrested Rakesh as soon as they learned that he had raped the girl at the guest house in Naya Buspark Mitranagar, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-26.

The incident is being investigated further by police.
